1. Our Commitment
MsPinaQ is a global culinary brand connecting world kitchens through a trusted, transparent experience. Privacy is foundational to that trust. This Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal data on mspinaq.com and related services.
By using our services, you acknowledge this Policy. If anything is unclear, we welcome your questions.
2. Information We Collect
We process only what is needed to operate the service, protect security, and improve the experience:
- Member account (Google sign-in): Name, email, profile image, and account identifier you choose to share via Google. We do not store your Google password; authentication is handled by Google.
- Engagement data: Recipes you like or save, comments you post, and “I cooked this” photo submissions (including optional captions).
- AI Assistant (MyChef) inputs: Ingredients, preferences, or questions you submit for recipe suggestions. Used to generate personalized responses.
- Technical and security data: IP address, device/browser details, approximate location (from IP), cookie identifiers, request timestamps, and logs needed for abuse prevention.
- Communications: Name, email, and message content when you contact us.
3. How We Use Information
- Create and maintain your account and show saved recipes.
- Publish comments and community photos; moderate content and review abuse reports.
- Provide AI-assisted recipe suggestions and improve product quality.
- Security, fraud prevention, rate limiting, and service reliability.
- Comply with law and protect our legitimate rights.
- Send service communications where permitted or legally justified.
We do not sell personal data. Sharing with advertising or analytics partners occurs only for measurement/analytics and in line with applicable rules.
4. Community Content & Moderation
Comments and “I cooked this” photos are linked to your account. Photos are reviewed before going live. For safety, images are reprocessed (e.g., re-encoded); raw uploads are not accepted as-is.
If your content includes recognizable faces—including children or third parties—you confirm you have the required permissions. Content that violates our rules may be removed and accounts may be restricted.
5. AI Assistant
- MyChef inputs are processed to generate suggestions; we do not sell your dietary habits to data brokers.
- Trusted infrastructure providers (e.g., OpenAI) may process inputs under contractual protections to generate responses.
- AI outputs are informational and inspirational—not medical or allergy advice.
6. Cookies & Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies for session management, security, language/localization preferences, performance measurement, and—when enabled—advertising measurement.
On your first visit you can choose “Accept All”, “Reject Non-Essential”, or “Manage Preferences”. Analytics scripts load only with Analytics consent; your choice is stored on your device (cookie + localStorage).
See the Cookie Policy for the full inventory.
You can manage cookies in your browser settings; some features (such as signed-in sessions) may not work without them.
7. Service Providers & Transfers
We share data with processors such as hosting, database, authentication (Google), storage, analytics, and AI providers—only as instructed by us and to the extent necessary.
Data may be processed in the United States or other countries where providers operate. Where appropriate, we use safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
8. Retention
We retain data while your account is active and as needed for legal, security, or dispute-resolution obligations. On account deletion requests, we delete or anonymize data within a reasonable period, subject to legal exceptions.
9. Security
We apply industry-standard measures including access controls, encrypted transport (HTTPS), server-side session checks, rate limiting, and reprocessing of uploaded images. No system is risk-free; please report any suspected incident to us.
10. Your Rights
Depending on your location (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, or request portability. Contact us using the details below.
California residents: we do not “sell” or “share” personal information as those terms are commonly understood under CCPA/CPRA (subject to limited advertising-measurement contexts). Contact us for privileged requests.
11. Children’s Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 16 (or a higher age required by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal data from such children. If we learn we have, we will delete it.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. For material changes we refresh the effective date and provide additional notice where appropriate. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
