Crispy Air Fryer Avocado Fries with Zesty Lime Crema

Crispy avocado fries with a creamy lime dip provide a crunchy exterior and a smooth texture in about 30 minutes.

About This Recipe

These crispy air fryer avocado fries are golden outside and creamy inside, served with a zesty lime crema for a perfect dip. The key is to coat them well for that crunch!

Crispy air fryer avocado fries are a fun twist on traditional fries. We use ripe avocados, which lend a creamy texture that contrasts beautifully with a crunchy panko coating.

The air fryer technique ensures a light and crisp exterior without the heaviness of frying in oil. Make sure to space the fries well in the basket to allow for even cooking.

Expect a satisfying crunch on the outside, with a soft, buttery avocado center. A common pitfall is overcrowding the air fryer, which can lead to uneven cooking and soggy fries.

Serve these avocado fries as a snack or appetizer. They pair wonderfully with a fresh salad or just on their own with the lime crema for a burst of flavor.

Why This Recipe Works

Crispy Outside, Creamy Inside: The air fryer cooks the panko coating quickly, creating a crunchy layer while keeping the avocado soft.
Quick Dipping Sauce Comes Together: Mixing sour cream with lime juice and zest adds a bright, tangy flavor that enhances the creamy fries.
Even Cooking with Air Circulation: The air fryer circulates hot air, ensuring that all sides of the fries get crispy without needing excess oil.

Chef's Pro Tip: For the crispiest fries, make sure your air fryer is preheated and avoid overcrowding the basket.
